The rising of the moon on the eve of the solstice. The rising of the moon on the eve of the solstice. We are in a portal of strong energy not only signifying the changes of seasons but also on the heel of a significant and strong full moon in Capricorn June 22 2024 Uk - 02:07 BST immediately after the solstice the moon enters cancer making it a new moon and a new month of energies will being asked to reflect and observe where our life needs more care congruency and awareness. Recognising where we’ve got choices, what we’re choosing and where we’re not stepping into our power and making choices that support ourselves. It’s a powerful time to be reparenting yourself instead of judging, criticising and blaming. We see this all around daily on the news things we can’t control or so we think. This makes us victimised to the circumstances outside of us rather than tending to a hearts and minds. It is also a time of expanding our ability to have compassion tolerance and forbearance. The full moon will highlight what things and structures strong held beliefs need to go. Perhaps you are still holding to the idea that you need to have a certain job or person in your life to feel safe and secure. This is a good week to really observe yourself and those nearest and dearest and see we can offer more a positive expression instead of criticising blaming and then expanding our tolerance. Of course this has not mean you put up with Shit, but make sure that you’re looking at yourself first before you abdicate any blame and accusations. The energy will be intense and a lot of people are feeling it physically emotionally and on level that we can’t quite put a finger on. Ask yourself, what am I feeling and if there is anything I can do to make a different choice about my experience. Be kind to yourself, clean up any negative thinking and negative behaviours that sabotage your mind. There’s a lot of negativity out there and it’s important not to get hijacked by the collective thinking and the manipulation of the media. When I worked for private clients, it was importan When I worked for private clients, it was important for me that they really understood the role of my participation of providing nourishing food to them. Those that treated me like some domestic staff or displayed upstairs and downstairs mentality I didn’t stick around to work for them . We must never underestimate the environment that we work in when we serve food. And Equally what and how the environment affects the provider of nourishing foods . occasionally, I’ll be served by someone in a fast food shop or a coffee shop who you can see and hear that exude a passion and love of service. Doesn’t that make you feel good? Avoid places that feel heavy, depressed or when a server is in a bad mood. They say never cook while you’re angry as the energy can transmit into the food and likewise if you prepare food or are resenting food preparation and don’t give a shit, then those you are cooking for and yourself will not be nourished as a result of your attitude and dislike for food preparation. Rather than seeing it is a chore see it as a form of expression of love for oneself and being able to extend that to others. Reason for that is it easy and quick to put together It’s always tasty Never the same - depending on what veggies and protein I have in the fridge that needs using up. This rice noodles was pan fried - Stir fried celery, spring cabbage and pak choi! And with a bit of Namplah, coconut cream, and a few shades of red Chili pepper. I wasn’t too heavy-handed with the coconut cream as I wanted it to be light and easy to digest. I’ve been cooking and eating as always, but life has been hectic and I’m not one for being strapped to social media . That said here is photograph of my supper tonight , Inspired by @stephvnietea reel. Stir fry Garlic noodles - I used egg noodles topped with homegrown chives instead of green onions. I also felt like a simple soup and decided to make a make Egg drop Tomato soup. Perfect synergy of foods, especially as a noodles had Parmesan cheese mixed into it. Super yummy easy to cook. Soup only took 10 minutes using a organic chicken stock cube. Garlic noodle stir fry too. One of my all-time and go to breakfast brunch made One of my all-time and go to breakfast brunch made at home. It’s a great way of using up a batch of herbs, particularly coriander, and in this case, I’ve also thrown some thyme and chives that needed using up. Don’t be afraid to use herbs for breakfast, as it’s full of natural goodness and medicinal benefits. As you can see from this real that there are variety of ways of producing this breakfast . Excellent for using up stale sourdough bread, but often I use a slice of German Rye. Their times I use up bacon that needs to be used , one time, I once used a small section of broccoli that needed using up and it was perfect, healthy and nourishing. For me, a sweet sugary breakfast is not breakfast . Even if it’s a porridge . Just increase the amount, according to how many you’re making for, and adjust the saucepan size accordingly. Instructions: Coriander, parsley, or any fresh herb of choice Olive oil Clove of garlic or two - finally chopped Bacon, if you’re using- cutting into small pieces For vegetarian- substitute by the use of mushrooms - sliced A slice of bread or two Boiling, hot water A couple of eggs to poach Pouring some oven olive oil into a saucepan and heat add the chopped garlic and herbs stirred to blend in the oil. If using pieces of bacon and mushrooms, add into the saucepan. Allow the bacon to brown and or the mushrooms to wilt slightly. In the meantime, boil kettle, and have the boiling water handy. Break the bread up into pieces and throw into the saucepan and mix well with the ingredients. Add the boiling water to the pot. Once it stops sizzling, drop an egg or two into the mixture and make sure they’re spaced well. Season with salt and pepper. Placed the lid onto the saucepan and cook for about four minutes for soft poached eggs. Place in a bowl to serve and drizzle some quality olive oil. Bon appétit. Super nourishing bowl to start your day. This is where personal sovereignty is important . Once you become aware that your default set is that of appeasing others over your interior truth, only then can you really set yourself free . It takes practice , to do this over and over again, despite the initial discomfort you may feel. Working with a solar plexus and tapping into your inner child, which would’ve been around the age of 6 to 10 years old of affirming love and re-scripting to your little self - Can you truly break the pattern set from your childhood.
