Beautiful beach to myself 🤩 Looming rain clouds Beautiful beach to myself 🤩 Looming rain clouds didn’t deter me to be outdoors practicing some body conditioning, and yoga- always feel lengthened, released and more spacious in my body. Clears my mind into one of openness. So grateful that I can take my workout anywhere with me. There always outdoor spots too for supine position for a bit of pilates or chest pressing and other resistance training with bands. I’m not as strong or fit as I used to be, I feel the tension in my body and aches too for sitting longer hours at a desk as I working on the computer- the curse of modern living. I’m hoping to put new Body Fusion classes on soon for the over 50’s - a great body mind & conditioning workout. Sea bass caponata with leftovers rice. My house mate had it with new potatoes. It’s versatile and be eaten with white beans or quinoa too. Without the fish this dish would be suitable for vegans. Incredibly delicious with the right blend of Mediterranean flavours. Served with baby spinach salad with chunks of half avocado and feta cheese in olive oil and lemon dressing - not pictured. The moon in Pisces is in its Balsamic phase, marki The moon in Pisces is in its Balsamic phase, marking the end of the lunar cycle. A good couple of days to reflect, rest and release. Maybe spend some quiet time clearing out the old, doing some clearing physical as well as auric, etheric, tuning up your chakras. It doesn't have to be anything woo-woo, if that is your idea if it...but it does powerfully shift things on an energetic level! Good old dancing and shaking it about will do! On a physical, outward level, release old clothes, books, photos, projects that you don't love or which invokes unpleasant memories. Keep and only ALL that you love. This phase coincides with the weekend is a perfect time to cull out all that really does not belong in your world any longer. We are starting a new phase , literally with Great Cosmic Support. Prior to initiating new beginnings it is always good to release the old, especially with the planetary set up we are in. There may feelings of despair, challenges and or disbelief. Or you may coasting along feeling everything is in the flow, There is no right or wrong or having to be somewhere. Peoples chart alignments are unique ,with that said, this cycle is ending for everyone. A new start, and the way to benefit from this amazing time is to listen to your body, observe what needs to go, take action toward moving forward while releasing and or grieving the old or loss. I'm going to spend some part of my weekend clearing out my photos on iCloud - Whatever invokes sadness, sorrow, perhaps disappointments from dreams that were broken, exes no longer need to be taking up storage space in your mind, energetically or photographically. If you go to my youtube channel there are several meditations that will help you mend from any heartbreak, broken bonds, toxic connections into a clearing to empowerment. Be in gratitude for all that has gone before and all that is. Each and everyone has played a part for us to learn, grow and offering us the opportunity to know deeper what is important to us. Homemade radish leaf pesto! As you will see from Homemade radish leaf pesto! As you will see from the photos that these leaves are not only only organic but also vibrant in colour. I couldn’t bear to throw them out as isn’t that what most do? Top and tail them and in the bin they go? Well no need. Can be sautéed, brewed in tea or as in here made into an pesto. A superfood, alkaline and bursting with vitamins C, B6 and A - host of minerals and is a blood and liver cleanser - detoxing your body apparent through the skin by the removal of toxins. Helps with candida and used medicinally in Ayurvedic cooking. Can be used as here on new potatoes or linguine - piece of steak or fish. Or a big dollop in crepe fraiche as bright summery dip to go with your bruschetta and crudités! No limit and no waste. Can also brush it on Roasted Aubergine or courgettes/ zucchini’s 💜 Use milder nuts like almond, or pistachio, parmigiana, I cheated and used ready grated, olive oil and ensure that any surplus in a jar is covered in oil to avoid moulding- plus always sterilise the jar first. It’s that good and fresh that you can even eat it by the teaspoonful. Found some turkey joint steaks in the freezer - what else but make osso buco? This recipe was about take on sweet spices with cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg plus dried apricots and cranberries, cooked in organic cider- Great blend of flavours after slow cooking the turkey with onions, garlic and spices and dried fruits. Bacon lardons and young organic leeks and a pot of cream. And grated sheep’s cheese! Which added great depth and flavour 😛 Quiche won. Here’s my rendition of a quiche in a square pirex dish. Turned out super tasty and so moorish it was hard to stop at one piece!
